The Reason

Yep, today is a lyrics day.

It's been one of those days where just about every song I hear "SHOUTS" at me. They all seem to have something to say that I seem to pick up on. I love days like this even when what I pick up on is sad, lost and unhappy, especially since it reflects exactly how I'm feeling today.

It always strikes me as "funny" though when I pick up on something in a song for the first time. Especially when it's a song I know I've heard before and today was no exception. I don't even want think about how many times I must have heard this particular song since it first came out in 2004. It's always been one of those songs that I'd turn up, even though I never really "listened" to it or the words and yet today the one verse kept going round and round in my head. And when I heard it requested for the second time in one morning I decided to go in search of the lyrics to post. So here they are the lyrics to Hoobastank's The Reason.
