"It's 4.53am and I'm sitting in hall 6 at the MTN Expo Centre. It's completely deserted and the only sound is the occasional beep of my phone as the delivery reports come in for the messages I've sent wishing the guys well on their various runs in this morning. It's strange sitting here knowing that in about 18 hours the day we've all worked so hard ( some more than others) for, for the last 7 months will be over. I know deep down this is going to be another of those days filled with moments that will define so many of us and the people we are. Moments that in some cases will no doubt change lives and I don't mean just the kids that will benefit from the toys collected today. I know from personal experience that every time I do a Toy Run it changes me on some level and I wonder what it will be this year, although I think the changes are sometimes on a level that I'll never understand. I'm not going to give it much thought now though. I'd rather just enjoy possibly the last moments of peace and quiet I'll have for the day."
I'm still wondering if I should post some of my pictures but I'm not much of a photographer and when I see some of the pic's on other sites and blogs I doubt mine will come close to measuring up. Oh well what the heck, but before I do that I need to do one last thing.......
I need to say THANK YOU, to each and every one of you who contributed towards making Sunday such a success. And yes I hope to see you all on November 28th next year..............
