Sadness

Above is a link to probably the saddest thing I've ever read.
What does it say about us as humans when we no longer have the need
for actual physical books and learning..............

For me some of my fondest memories will always be sitting in the reference section
of the library as a child and even as a teen being transported to far away lands and
historical moments as I paged through the Encyclopedia Britannica.

Enjoying the silence, the smell and the escape of the library was always my safe place
and thanks to technology I have a sadness in the bottom of my stomach as I sense the
end of the physical library wont be long in following one of the icons of my youth and
the last 245 years for that matter.
