I hope you find it

These clouds aren't going nowhere, baby
Rain keeps coming down
I just thought I'd try to call you, baby
But you got too far outta town
And I hope that you get this message that I'm leaving for you
'Cause I hate that you left without hearing the words that I needed you to

And I hope you find it,
What you're looking for
And I hope it's everything you dreamed your life could be
And so much more

And I hope you're happy, wherever you are
I wanted you to know that
And nothing's gonna change that
And I hope you find it

Am I supposed to hang around and wait forever?
The last words that I said
But that was nothing but a broken heart talkin', baby
You know that wasn't what I meant
Call me up, let me know that you got this message that I'm leaving for you
'Cause I hate that you left without hearing the words that I needed you to

And I hope you find it,
What you're looking for
And I hope it's everything you dreamed your life could be
And so much more

And I hope you're happy, wherever you are
I wanted you to know that
And nothing's gonna change that
And I hope you find it
Whatever it is out there that you thought you were missing here

And I hope you find it,
What you're looking you
And I hope it's everything you dreamed your life could be
And so much more

And I hope you're happy wherever you are
I wanted you to know that
And nothing's gonna change that
No, no, no
And I hope you find it
I hope you find it

Yes, I'm still unwritten

I am unwritten,
Can't read my mind
I'm undefined
I'm just beginning
The pen's in my hand
Ending unplanned

Staring at the blank page before you
Open up the dirty window
Let the sun illuminate the words
That you could not find
Reaching for something in the distance
So close you can almost taste it
Release your innovation

Feel the rain on your skin
No one else can feel it for you
Only you can let it in
No one else, no one else
Can speak the words on your lips
Drench yourself in words unspoken
Live your life with arms wide open
Today is where your book begins
The rest is still unwritten, yeah

Oh, oh

I break tradition
Sometimes my tries
Are outside the lines, oh yeah yeah
We've been conditioned
To not make mistakes
But I can't live that way oh, oh

Staring at the blank page before you
Open up the dirty window
Let the sun illuminate the words
That you could not find
Reaching for something in the distance
So close you can almost taste it
Release your inhibitions

Feel the rain on your skin
No one else can feel it for you
Only you can let it in
No one else, no one else
Can speak the words on your lips
drench yourself in words unspoken
Live your life with arms wide open
Today is where your book begins

Feel the rain on your skin
No one else can feel it for you
Only you can let it in
No one else, no one else
Can speak the words on your lips
drench yourself in words unspoken
live your life with arms wide open
Today is where your book begins
the rest still unwritten

Staring at the blank page before you
Open up the dirty window
Let the sun illuminate the words
That you could not find
Reaching for something in the distance
So close you can almost taste it
Release your inhibitions

Feel the rain on your skin
No one else can feel it for you
Only you can let it in
No one else, no one else
Can speak the words on your lips
Drench yourself in words unspoken
Live your life with arms wide open

Slowly waking

Without change,

something sleeps inside us,

and seldom awakens.

The sleeper must awaken.

Trying very hard to

To change is indeed a state of mind. When one resists the healing of change they perpetuate confusion of the soul. The soul only knows change. If we accept the souls needs as our own we see the imperfections of ourselves and others as acceptable and even look forward to the opportunity! When we embrace those imperfections, when we show love for those imperfections, we have stepped up one rung on the ladder of evolution.

Seek not to be perfect, seek not those that are perfect for therein lies no growth. Rather seek out your imperfections and embrace those of others and walk together the road to perfection. When you are truly on that path shall you see the beauty of imperfection as a manifestation of your own perfection. Therein lies your happiness!!!

Fly Away

Not really my ususual stuff but for some reason this ones touched a chord with me today, so here are the lyrics to Aerosmith's Fly away from here and yes I think Steven Tyler may finally be growing on me :)

FLY AWAY FROM HERE
Aerosmith

Gotta find a way
Yeah I can't wait another day
Ain't nothin' gonna change
if we stay 'round here

Gotta do what it takes
Cuz it's all in our hands
We all make mistakes
Yeah, but it's never too late
To start again, take another breath
and say another prayer

And fly away from here
Anywhere, yeah I don't care
We'll just fly away from here
Our hopes and dreams
Are out there somewhere

Won't let time pass us by
We'll just fly

If this life gets any harder now
It ain't, no, never mind
You got me by your side
And any time you want
Yeah we can catch a train and
Find a better place
Yeah, cuz we won't let nothin'
Or no one keep gettin' us down
Maybe you and I
Can pack our bags and hit the sky

And fly away from here
Anywhere yeah I don't care
We just fly away from here
Our hopes and dreams are out there somewhere

Won't let time pass us by
We'll just fly

Do you see a bluer sky now
You can have a better life now
Open your eyes

Cuz no one here can ever stop us
They can try but we won't let them
No way

Maybe you and I
Can pack our bags and say goodbye

And fly away from here
Anywhere, honey I don't care
We'll just fly away from here
Our hopes and dreams are out there somewhere
Fly away from here
Yeah anywhere honey
I don't I don't I don't care

We'll just fly

Eternity

" The story of a love is not important..........what is important is that one is capable of love. It is perhaps the only glimpse we are permitted of eternity..............." Helen Hayes

Your Journey

There is a journey awaiting you

It comes in truth and promise

When you reach the point of not knowing who you are or where to go

This most precious but often painful passage is the journey of yourself

You will travel to places never before visited,

Where you meet unspoken fears and unearth buried truths

You will climb high and perilous mountains...

Those that rise up from inside yourself

You will explore forgotten waters held deep in the sea of your soul

You will be stranded in the wilderness and find a way through pathless land

You will be lost before you are found...You will be empty before you are full

You will cry the deep sobs of the earth

and tears of rain will cleanse the house around your heart

In time...because life, like birth and death, knows its own time

Your fears and struggles and unknowing will be transformed

You will become a mountain place where eagles soar

You will become a reflecting pool

which sees and knows the mysteries of your life

Your heart will be light like a butterfly

as you follow the currents of its true desires

The flight of the honeybee will be yours

as you seek the nectar of what brings sweeteness to your daily life

Most of all you will become who you truly are

Your life will hold truth and promise and meaning

And the heart of the heavens will hold your heart.

Another legend gone :o(

Legendary Northern Irish blues rock guitarist Gary Moore has unfortunately passed away. The former Thin Lizzy guitarist reportedly died in his sleep while on holiday in Spain in the early hours of this morning. He was 58 years old. Moore made a name for himself in the rock world after performing in a band named Skid Row in the late 1960s and released his first solo album in 1973, before joining Thin Lizzy for periods of time and collaborating with such other legendary artists as Ozzy Osbourne, B.B. King and George Harrison.

Appreciation

If one could only learn to appreciate the little things...

A song that takes you away, for there are those who cannot hear.

The beauty of a sunset, for there are those who cannot see.

The warmth and safety of your home,

for there are those who are homeless.

Time spent with good friends for there are those who are lonely.

A walk along the beach for there are those who cannot walk.

The little things are what life is all about.

Search your soul and learn to appreciate.

Wish you were here

So, so you think you can tell
Heaven from Hell,
Blue skies from pain.
Can you tell a green field
From a cold steel rail?
A smile from a veil?
Do you think you can tell?

Did they get you to trade
Your heroes for ghosts?
Hot ashes for trees?
Hot air for a cool breeze?
And cold comfort for change?
Did you exchange
A walk on part in the war,
For a lead role in a cage?

How I wish, how I wish you were here.
We're just two lost souls
Swimming in a fish bowl,
Year after year,
Running over the same old ground.
What have we found
The same old fears
.
Wish you were here.

Dont think I need to say anything more about where I'm at today :/

Soul Story

Our stories arise from our hearts and our souls. In this sense, telling our stories becomes a sacred gesture opening a clear way to that deep, ecstatic center where we are most uniquely our selves, individual and unique, and yet are ourselves, joined together at the heart. Once we understand this, we see that the stories of our daily lives, so rich with the experiences of trial and error, so deeply rooted in the here-and-now, so embodied and real and various - our ordinary stories are extraordinarily spirit filled. The routine exchanges, the daily duties, the everyday work, these become the heart-rich, soul-filled liturgies that sustain us. reminding us over and over that we are spiritual beings temporarily at home in human bodies, students working through a lifelong curriculum that teaches us to be human, each assigned his/her own daily lessons.

*sigh*

I had a really wierd night, haven't really slept again, sat and wrote a loooooooooong blog post about whats been going on, how I'm feeling and well everything really but when I reread it I decided it wasn't quite ready for public consumption, some of it's rather personal and well I think right now I'm not quite ready to spill those beans so I've decided to repost Katy Perry's lyrics to Thinking of you since thats pretty much all I did last night anyway . . . . . . . . . guess I'll go shower now and try to put myself together and pretend I'm ready to face today still thinking of you

Thinking Of You

Comparisons are easily done
Once you've had a taste of perfection
Like an apple hanging from a tree
I picked the ripest one
I still got the seed

You said move on
Where do I go
I guess second best
Is all I will know

Cause when I'm with him
I am thinking of you
Thinking of you
What you would do if
You were the one
Who was spending the night
Oh I wish that I
Was looking into your eyes

You're like an Indian summer
In the middle of winter
Like a hard candy
With a surprise center
How do I get better
Once I've had the best
You said there's
Tons of fish in the water
So the waters I will test

He kissed my lips
I taste your mouth
He pulled me in
I was disgusted with myself

Cause when I'm with him
I am thinking of you
Thinking of you
What you would do if
You were the one
Who was spending the night
Oh I wish that I
Was looking into...

You're the best
And yes I do regret
How I could let myself
Let you go
Now the lesson's learned
I touched it I was burned
Oh I think you should know

Cause when I'm with him
I am thinking of you
Thinking of you
What you would do if
You were the one
Who was spending the night
Oh I wish that I
Was looking into your eyes
Looking into your eyes
Looking into your eyes
Oh won't you walk through
And bust in the door
And take me away
Oh no more mistakes
Cause in your eyes I'd like to stay...
