Just something that stood out to me

Last Post

Yep, this will be the one and only post I write about that soccer spectacle they expect to rescue South Africa and by assosiation Africa from all it's woes.

And yes thats why it's called Last Post.

Years ago when we (read South Africa) won the right (or was it left) to host this years soccer spectacle (no copyright infringements here) I remember having a conversation with someone about the fans and how many times in the then recent past we had had incidents where the "fans" stampeded for whatever reason soccer fans stampede and people had died or at the very least been injured.

At the time I predicted that that would be the eventual result during said soccer spectacle if there was a game where said fans didn't like the result. Sad to see I was right and that with a warm up game:( With said soccer spectacle due to begin in just 3 painful days, yes personally I am all soccered out already, I just hope the powers that be have realised they have a major problem on their hands and that they intend to do something about it otherwise this is going to go down in history as the soccer spectacle that cost lives instead of saving lives as they seemed to think it would.
